Special requirements for customs around the world to be noti
Special requirements for customs around the world to be notified in advance
Different countries have different requirements and regulations for the import and export of goods. We must understand the import and export details of each country in order to avoid problems at critical times.
1. Countries that need to declare AMS
United States, Canada, Mexico, Philippines
The ISF declaration in the United States stipulates that it must be provided to US customs 48 hours before the departure of the ship, otherwise there will be a fine of USD 5000, an AMS fee of $25 per ticket, and if modified, $40 per ticket. Starting from July 1, 2016, all goods imported into the Philippines must declare AMS in advance. In addition to the original EBS in the Philippines, CIC will add an additional AMS surcharge, and goods arriving in the Philippines are required to declare AMS in advance.
2 Countries that need to declare ENS
For all EU member states, the ENS fee is $25-35 per ticket.
Countries where wooden packaging requires fumigation and disinfection
Australia, United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Israel, Brazil, Chile, Panama.
4 Countries that require a certificate of origin
Cambodia, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka.

Customs regulations of various countries
Indonesia
Finally, the consignee must have the right to receive goods for import and export, otherwise import customs clearance cannot be carried out.
Saudi Arabia
All goods imported into Saudi Arabia must be shipped on pallets with the country of origin and shipping mark printed on the packaging. Starting from February 25, 2009, all inbound goods that violate this regulation by not using pallets for shipment will be fined separately and borne by the customer themselves.
Brazil
Only three original copies of the full set of bills of lading are accepted and cannot be modified. The bill of lading must display the freight amount (only in US dollars or euros), and bills of lading with the name "TOORDER" are not accepted. The bill of lading must display the recipient's contact information (phone number, address);
b. The consignee's CNPJ number must be displayed on the bill of lading (the consignee must be a registered company), and the consignee must be a company registered with the destination customs;
c. Payment on delivery is not allowed, and additional charges cannot be charged at the destination port. The wooden packaging needs to be fumigated, so the LCL quotation needs to be paid more attention.
Mexico
a. To declare an AMS bill of lading, it is necessary to display the product code, as well as provide AMS information and packing list invoice;
b. Notify displays the third-party notifier, usually a freight forwarding company or a CONSIGNEE agent;
c. Display the true shipper and true consignee;
d. The product name cannot display a general name, but a detailed product name must be displayed;
e. Number of pieces: It is required to display a detailed number of pieces, for example, there are 50 boxes of goods in 1PALLET;
f. The bill of lading should show the origin of the goods.
Chile
Chile does not accept electronic release of bills of lading, and wooden packaging needs to be fumigated.
Panama
a. We do not accept electronic release bills of lading, wooden packaging must be fumigated, and packing lists and invoices must be provided;
b. The goods transferred through the Cologne Free Trade Zone to Panama must be stackable and forklift capable, with a single weight not exceeding 2000KGS.
Colombia
The bill of lading must show the shipping amount (in US dollars or euros).
India
Regardless of FOB or CIF conditions, regardless of whether the bill of lading is "TOORDER OF SHIPPER" or not, regardless of whether the bill of lading is in your hands, the Indian side may not make payment and is technically legal. As long as the name of the Indian customer is displayed on the bill of lading and IGM (import cargo manifest) of the import declaration, you have lost the ownership of the goods, regardless of whether the bill of lading is in your hands, so it is necessary to make 100% prepayment as much as possible.
Russia
a. Customers must make timely payments, or if both parties have a long-term cooperation, it is recommended to make the payment first or to prepay 75% or more;
b. After the goods arrive at the port, it is necessary to urge the customer to make payment and pick up the goods. Otherwise, after the goods arrive at the port, no one will pick up the goods and the customs will blackmail them, or you will have to pay high fees and the customer can release the goods without a bill of lading through relationships. This market is sometimes reasonable and unclear;
c. Given the procrastination style of the Russians, it is important to remember that whether it is prepayment, delivery, or final payment, it must be urged.
